15.2hh 8yo Chestnut Thoroughbred Mare
Dirt: Bad Turf: Great Distance: 7-12 Furlongs
Innie is an attention-hogger. She loves to have all eyes on her, and even if nobody is looking at her she still acts as though they are. She is a very showy filly. She likes to dance and prance and attract as many eyes as possible. It isn't hard for Innie to attract attention either. She has amazing conformation and is actually a very attractive filly. Her chestnut coloring is light and beautiful and her eyes just speak of innocence and youthful joy. Innie is adorable. People love her and often pick her out from a crowd due to the spirited and proud way that she carries herself. Handling wise, she can be quite difficult to deal with. She is very spirited and independent, and whenever she wants something she will work to get it through any means possible. But Innie is not a mean filly, and she does not resort to violence in order to get what she wants. She would rather settle for being moody and difficult, annoying her handlers enough into obeying her. As long as the attention is on Innie and not some other horse, she is a joy to ride. But if the eyes are diverted from her chestnut frame, she is a nightmare.
Leg Type: Front Runner
Innie is an attention hog. She breaks lightning fast and goes right to the front. It's as if she knows that by being in front all eyes will be glued to her. Innie races so she can get attention. If she does well, she often gets more attention, so she always tries to do well. Innie cannot imagine doing less than her best when she does something, because to do less would mean less treats and the attention she craves. So she breaks fast and takes the lead. If challenged, she will do one of two things. She may challenge back fiercely, setting some suicidal fractions to maintain her pace. She may also drop back a little bit, almost teasingly, because to do so easily might mean getting some additional attention throughout the race, taking all eyes off the actual horse in front. As the race progresses, Innie will increase her pace as much as she has to to maintain her lead, and then will gun it for the wire when asked by her jockey. She has a pretty quick turn of foot and some good sprint stamina. This makes her capable of wiring fields if she so wanted to.
